Rotate PDF

Use commas for individual pages, dashes for ranges. Click any thumbnail below to toggle it.
What is the Rotate PDF?
The Rotate PDF tool spins pages inside your PDF by 90°, 180° or 270° so upside-down or sideways scans finally read the right way up. You can rotate every page in one go or pick specific pages that came out crooked from your scanner or phone camera.
It is a lightweight fix for one of the most annoying PDF issues: opening a document only to find that pages 3 and 7 are tilted. Instead of re-scanning or re-exporting from another app, drop the file into ToolSink and adjust the pages in seconds.
Rotation happens in the browser, so there are no uploads and no wait times beyond the file transfer to memory.
How to use the Rotate PDF
- 1Upload the PDF that has misaligned pages.
- 2Choose whether to rotate all pages or a specific range.
- 3Pick a rotation angle — 90° clockwise, 180° or 270° (equivalent to 90° counter-clockwise).
- 4Click "Rotate" and let the tool re-save the file.
- 5Download the corrected PDF and open it to verify the pages now display correctly.

Examples
Fixing a phone scan
Pages 2–4 of a receipt scan came out on their side. Rotate them 90° clockwise to make them readable.
Correcting a landscape report
A report accidentally exported in landscape orientation is rotated 90° so it prints correctly on A4 paper.
Flipping an upside-down page
Page 1 of a scanned contract is upside down. A single 180° rotation makes it match the rest.
Why use this tool

Frequently asked questions
Can I rotate only a few pages?
Yes — enter a page range like "2-4" or "5" to target specific pages instead of the whole document.
Will rotation reduce image quality?
No. Rotation just changes the display metadata for each page, so image quality is untouched.
Does the tool support rotation by arbitrary angles?
PDFs officially support only 90-degree increments. For other angles you would need to edit the underlying images.
Can I rotate an encrypted PDF?
You need to remove the password first with our PDF Password Remover tool, then run the rotation.
Is the rotation permanent?
Yes, once you download the file the rotation is baked into the new PDF. Your original file is left unchanged.
