The generated document includes page breaks corresponding to the source pages and aims to preserve a sensible reading order from text coordinates. It is designed to make words editable, not to recreate every visual instruction embedded in the PDF.
The output prioritises text fidelity over pixel-perfect layout: tables, columns and images are approximated. Scanned or photographed pages contain pixels rather than selectable text, so they need an OCR workflow before this extractor can recover meaningful words.

- Conversion works best on text-based PDFs. Scanned or image-only PDFs have no selectable text, so little or nothing will be extracted without OCR.
- Complex layouts (multi-column pages, tables, custom fonts) may not carry over perfectly and can need light cleanup in Word.

Will the layout look exactly like the PDF?
No — formatting is simplified to readable paragraphs. Fonts, tables and images are approximated.
Can I convert password-protected PDFs?
Remove the password first with the Password Remover tool, then convert.
Does the tool perform OCR on scans?
No. If you cannot select the text in the PDF, it is likely image-based and this converter will extract little or nothing. Use an OCR tool first.
Is my document uploaded?
