Remove PDF Pages

Delete one or more pages from a PDF and download a slimmer file. Runs entirely in your browser.

100% in your browser — files never uploaded

Use commas for individual pages, dashes for ranges. All other pages will be kept.

What is the Remove PDF Pages?

The Remove PDF Pages tool deletes one or more pages from a PDF and downloads a slimmer copy. You keep the original file untouched; the tool creates a fresh PDF that contains only the pages you want to keep.

It is the inverse of our Split PDF tool. Where split extracts a range as a separate file, this tool removes noisy pages — a filler advert, a blank scanner page, an internal-only cover — and returns a leaner document ready to share.

The whole process runs on-device thanks to pdf-lib. Your PDF, no matter how sensitive, never travels to a server.

How to use the Remove PDF Pages

  1. 1Drop the PDF onto the upload area.
  2. 2Wait a moment while the tool reads the page count.
  3. 3Enter the page numbers you want to remove (for example, "2, 5-7, 10").
  4. 4Click "Remove pages" and download the trimmed PDF.
  5. 5Verify by opening the new file — only the pages you kept should remain.

Frequently asked questions

Can I remove every page?

No — the tool refuses to leave you with an empty PDF. Remove at least one fewer than the total.

Does it work on encrypted PDFs?

Only on PDFs you can open without a password. Use our Password Remover first.

Are the remaining pages re-numbered?

Physically yes — the new PDF starts from page 1. Bookmarks that point to removed pages may become invalid.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No — the whole operation runs inside your browser tab.

Will the file get smaller?

Yes, roughly proportional to the pages removed. Run Compress PDF afterwards for further shrinking.
