What is the EXIF Viewer?
The EXIF Metadata Viewer reads embedded camera and capture metadata from photos — make, model, timestamps, lens details and GPS coordinates when present — and shows them in a readable table.
The same page can download a cleaned image with metadata stripped by re-encoding through a canvas. That removes GPS and camera tags that often survive when you merely rename a file.
Processing is local. This matters because EXIF GPS can reveal home or workplace locations if you upload originals to public sites.

Canvas JPEG export uses a high quality setting but is still a re-encode. For zero quality change you would need a lossless metadata stripper; this tool prioritises reliable tag removal.
Why should I care about GPS?
